After 25 years in the fashion industry, Juliana “JuJu” Azar, decided to turn her creative focus to another joyful passion, cake artistry! Within less than a year of opening in September of 2018, www.patisseriejuju.com garnered such esteemed clients as Ballet Austin, The Dell Children’s Hospital Ball, and The EASB Seton Fundraiser.
As a born and bred Austinite (a unicorn these days if ever there was one) “JuJu” has a great love for her city and its creative energy. She also has a grand amour for all things French and considers herself fluent in “franglish!”
Patisserie JuJu cakes and pastries have been lauded not only for their fun and beautiful designs, but also for their wonderful tastes and textures. Juliana designs her cakes with an eye to fashion in honor of her great heroine, Madame Coco Chanel, and adheres always to the value of precision championed by the original “JuJu”, Julia Child of The French Chef.
